Design Process

From start to finish you will only ever work with JC Gardens, we design and construct all of our playgrounds and never subcontract out any of parts of the build.  This ensures that our high standards are maintained throughout resulting in a beautifully designed and constructed playground that will last a lifetime, but most importantly that you only ever have one point of contact throughout the whole process which we hope results in a more seamless and efficient job with improved communication. 
  

Julian will firstly arrange a meeting to come and visit your school to take measurements of the intended site, take photos as well as discuss any particular requirements you might have.   It is often a good idea to include the children, PTA's, Head Teacher and even parents within the design and consultation process to incorporate any ideas they may have to make them feel part of design.   After the initial visit Julian will set about working on a creative playground design to bring your space to life drawing on his years of experience to ensure that he creates a truly original and exciting play area for the children to enjoy for years to come.

A computer generated 3D design is then created of your playground design within the space and sent to you with costings.  At this stage Julian will be happy to discuss any questions you might have to the proposed design, which can be tweaked and amended as required.   Once the design is finalised and the costings agreed then we can arrange a date to begin construction.
