Our Environmental Policies

You won't be surprised to hear that we like trees!

Twelve years on we still maintain that we only ever use the finest responsibly sourced materials available in the construction of our products, not only because they look beautiful and will last a lifetime, but because they are kind to the environment too. The timbers we choose to use such as Pine and Oak will age beautifully too. We go out of our way to ensure that the materials we use are as local and environmentally sensitive as possible.

"The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) shall promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world's forests...Environmentally appropriate forest management ensures that the harvest of timber and non-timber products maintains the forest's biodiversity, productivity and ecological processes.  Socially beneficial forest management helps both local people and society at large to enjoy [the] long term benefits [of] forest resources... - FSC Mission Statement
